Hot Lamination films

Hot lamination films are high-performance multi-layer flexible materials produced using thermal lamination processes, where layers are bonded by applied heat or pressure with minimal or no solvent-based adhesives. These films are designed for applications requiring excellent sealing performance, thermal resistance, and clean processing.

The film structures typically combine materials such as PE, PP, PET, and barrier resins. Polyethylene (PE) serves as the primary sealant and moisture barrier layer, ensuring strong sealing, flexibility, and reliable package integrity.

Hot lamination films provide consistent quality, reduced migration, and are highly suitable for food-contact applications.

These films are widely used in:

  • Hot-fill and retort packaging
  • High temperature resistant applications
  • Bag-in-Box (BIB) systems
  • Barrier packaging solutions
  • General lamination and industrial applications

Packaging:

  • Rolls shall be packed on pallets, properly wrapped with stretch film.
  • Each roll shall be protected against dust, moisture, and mechanical damage.
  • Rolls shall be securely fixed to prevent movement during transportation.

Identification:

On each shipped roll will be one 30×21 cm (A4) sticker adhered to the roll’s outer side. The stickers will contain the following details:

  • Name, catalogue and purchase order numbers.
  • Rolls: net weight [kg], width and gusset depth [mm], thickness [µm].
  • Supplier’s: name, production dates and order numbers, batch & roll’s numbers
